Camrose Golf Club is an 18 hole golf course located in Camrose, Alberta.
The course first opened for play in 1920 with nine holes. The back nine was added in 1983, resulting in diverse characteristics.
The fairways on the front nine are tree lined and average width. The back nine is wide open but plays narrower because of the water that comes into play on seven holes. The front side greens are small and undulating, and the back nine greens are large, undulating and a few are tiered. All of the greens are fast.
The course plays alongside the banks of Stoney Creek
The signature hole is #11, a 150-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot over water onto a large, two-tiered green.
Blue tees: par-71, 6,139 yards
White tees: par-71, 5,691 yards
Red tees: par-71, 5,136 yards
Gold tees: par-71, 5,063 yards

This is an old style golf course with mature trees and landscaping. It is well looked after and in much condition than one usually thinks of for a municipally owned course. It is mostly flat and quite walkable. There are few forced carries, so it is playable for golfers of all levels of ability. At the Golfnow price it was an incredible deal. At the regular rack rate I wouldn't drive out of my way for this course, but I would happily play it again.
